This was a multi stem session found in the Cambridge Music Technology site. My biggest problem was the bass, is kinda bumpy and messy for me, any suggestion on how to improve low-end mixing would be appreciated.

I think the bass guitar is overshadowing the low end of the kick and making it sound kinda small. I would bring up the kick a little so it doesn’t get lost. Also the hi hat is sounding a bit harsh. You might need to notch out a few frequencies to smooth it out. Love that jazz Tom sound though. Those are perfect!
