I am trying to get into mixing. I recorded this from our church service a few weeks ago. I used a Midas M32 and a Persons Studio Live Board to record into Studio One Artist Version 5. We overdubbed the instruments, but not vocals. This is my second attempt. Tell me what you think.

Love the music.
Sounds like there’s a high end boost on the drum loop and triangle. It’s making them pretty harsh to the ear. The kick and snare are pretty boxy sounding. I’d recommend a cut in the 500hz area to help that. The lead vocal is getting lost a little bit. Might need to experiment with some compression.
