((SECOND MIX)) Whole song made in my basement using Logic Pro X. Vocals recorded with a MXL Mics 770 Cardioid Condenser Microphone, connected to a PreSonus 24c Studio USB-C audio interface. Mixed with Logic stock plugins as well as Waves CLA Vocals. Beat was made with a Akai MPK Mini Laptop Production Keyboard and a M-Audio Keystation 49 MK3 with Logic Pro X instruments, and guitar loop.

Hi,vocal is slightly out of the beat in 1st chorus, kick is lacking a low end – bass synth too.Low end is song energy and many youngsters(or mixers beginners)are having trouble to mix it properly,typically if the room is not acoustically treated well so you can not hear the low end at all(compare your mix on different speakers or headphones).Snare is too much “in the face”,parallel compression should sort it out.
Song arrangements should be more interesting then it is,I would grab a bass synth to go along with a kick on 2nd chorus or anything else to separate “the hook” out of mid part song…
Just my thoughts listening on ear buds.
Overall, well impressed with the song and the mix considering it’s done on a entry level gear.

I’d add a De-Esser and call this one done. Sounds really good. 🙂
The “S”summer Days and “S”summer nights are a little too noticeable.
