He gave me the midi exports from his Finale composition and I added stock sounds from Logic. Then we added acoustic drums also mixed in Logic.

I really enjoyed the drums! You should make some more room cutting off some freq in the midrange for the vocals to come through, specially with the orchestral parts.
I think there is too much reverb on the orchestral parts, the sound is a little washed… the drums parts are very nice and cut thru the mix. You should put the sing in the foreground, try EQing it a bit
Thanks for the feedback. I will definitely try dropping the reverb a little bit and bringing the vocals a little more forward
Might need to add a De-esser to get rid of those harsh S’s. The tone on those drums is great!
