I wanted it to sound vintage. But the most important thing for me was to find sound that fits songs emotion. The only thing recorded outside my home studio was drums, but recording was not very satisfying – no ambience nor room mics which would be very important in the scenario.
All parts are recorded by electric guitar.
Another mix in a series of songs I’m producing for a friend of mine. Mixed and mastered in Cubase Pro as usual. Starting to get a sense of my own mixing style and starting to hear better consistency across tracks.

This a rendition of the blessing that I arranged and directed for a Ugandan children and youth choir. I had the instrumental prepared separately, and I recorded the vocals in Logic with the complete track (not stems). I used some stock and waves plugins. I need your feedback.
