The wide stereo image separates elements from each other, i hear “Left Center Right” instead of “band”.
A tad too much low-end on the kick for my taste, becomes exhausting after a while.
I´d tweak drum reverbs a bit to make them feel less artificial. The mix could benefit from more of “room mic”
I agree. I wish we had a room mic when it was recorded. 🙁
THE most important element in a live recording: stereo room mics far away from stage in a nice venue 🙂
