Recorded, mixed and mastered by myself. This recording took place at Ioannina, Greece. The performance is from a local band called Δε Luckies.
You might notice some ”clicks” from the singer`s microphone switch. It turned out not to be working.

Tracked and mixed live, I think this is well done. Just a little more on the kick at 4K, but that is just being picky, Nice job.
Sounds good. Was there any way to get a little more attack on the kick?
Well the Audix D6 was used as a kick out microphone, no kick in used.I must say i pushed the EQ to get the attack i was looking for but the result wasn’t the desired.
Yeah being a drummer, I’m with musicmarty. I’d love a little more snap, but I understand there are situations in live sound where we can’t always get what we want lol. The D6 is a pretty snappy mic too, but I guess that’s only when it’s inside. Did you run the live sound too. Or were you only there to record them?
Yeah zakk, i am the sound engineer of the particular bar so i run every band live since they don`t have their own sound engineer. I like the D6, some times when the drummer is not that good i place just inside the kick, laying down. This guy here was a pro, so i prefered to do it the classic way
I don’t know what their studio sound is like, but I think this is pretty good for a live cover band.
This sounds pretty good to me. The vocals seem a tad bit loud but maybe that’s just their sound. I’m not familiar with the band 😉
