I agree with others that the vocals could be more up front. Maybe volume, Comp or EQ?
A very nice laid back feel. Good “shopping background” music as it is. Tough to get natural vocals to blend with synth instuments.
I listen to “electronic” genre music occasionally late at night, like when I’m chillin’ with an actual book. I could listen to more of this. It may be two singers or it may be one singer overdubbed but the balance is good. You might try spreading the vocals a little keeping the main one in the middle and panning the doubled vocals some just to get a little depth. I’m listening on buds so that may affect my perception.
This is a great song! The vocals could stand out a little better; overall, the song’s balance could have been better. Maybe a better use of automation so the drops going back in the different sections of the song will sound more anticipated.
Thanks for the feed back, vocals, louder? I’ll work on the transition with abit more animation,,, give me a small brake down on parts of the balance you feel are slacking,, Thanks
Sounds good! I’d love to hear the vocals beefed up a little bit. I also preferred super compressed vocals lol. But that’s just me. Do you have a reference that we can listen to to hear other music in a similar style?
Maybe a little bit more low end and compression. That’s cool! On that ghost produced example, it seems like the kick was the only thing affecting the side chain, but the Asambe track it feels like other instruments may be causing it to pump.
I’ll spend more time with n put your pointers to consideration, thanks alot
