Mix Description

Soon to be released as a music video for my band. When you write a song and work on it for ages, you definitely lose objectivity. How´s this one?

Too many tracks, as always. Analog instruments ( entire band “mic only” ) with supportive layers, tons of effects and hundreds of automation lanes. Many of them are just for my personal wellbeing, no one else cares 😀
Jokes aside, when I got time for it, I really get into details to make it “a little more better” again and again. Make more space to fit in each instrument, then fill the space with another one to add variety.

Mix Feedback from others:

  • Sounds amazing! Fix that whistle on her vocal right in the beginning and I think it’ll be perfect 😉 I’d probably just notch it out, but it’s weird that I only was hearing it in the beginning.

I just got a band on board for the next mixing competition that’s very similar to this one and I’m looking for judges. Wanna judge? Or would you rather participate? 🙂

    • yay 😀 thanks
the intro “ahh”´s? That´s TONS of trebly reverb, we found that more interesting than the usual dull reverbs that fit everywhere else. Or the “t” sounds, already fixed them as possible 😀

Would like to hear, also that´s certainly less work than making 190 tracks remote-mix-able and uploading all that stuff 😡

      • No problem! I was actually talking about the S’s in particular. There’s a little whistle happening on them.

Haha and no don’t worry, being a judge doesn’t mean the music has to come from you lol 😉 I’ll handle that part
