This sounds amazing. At first I was going to say the vocal is too bright, but I think it’s just the hi hat that hits every time the snare hits. Still gets a 10/10 from me
Appreciate you taking the time out to listen. Truly, thank you.
I love when good rap tracks get posted on here. I have about 0 experience mixing hip hop lol
From listening to a bunch of great Rap records, is how most of my understanding and knowledge comes into play. HipHop/ Rap is definitely about a feel and doesn’t go too much on rules. Most of the great sounding HipHop records were either accidents…mistakes the engineers tried fix and was too late or something that was intentionally done to capture a certain level of raw and grittiness known to the culture of HipHop.
Also, with many sub genres in the realm of HipHop, it’s easy to compile a blueprint how you would want the record to sound.
I’m constantly learning and more than happy and willing to share what I’ve learned thus far if and whenever you’re ready. I appreciate your feedback! Thank you!
