The middle was all scooped out. The lead line was buried, but it was cool how it climbed out at the end with the compression. Beautiful voice over a lush, dark mix.
I didn’t even do any processing to the beat for anything to sound scooped out ?, I just bussed all drums to an aux and then bussed all other instruments to another aux an compressed the aux tracks like barely 2db gain reduction, I only mixed the vocals, I wasn’t going to spend hella time trying to process everything, I felt like my mix already sounded better than all mixes before mines

wish i wouldve added a lil tune to her vocals smh, i also couldve did more to the drums & melodies but i just bussed them to a couple of aux tracks an compressed a lil
Yeah I’m working on my version of the song right now and it definitely needs some processing. You can always resubmit it if you want to keep working on it 😉
