Not really Rock, but there’s no Americana listed. Would like some general feedback. This was recorded in several locations: an apartment in a two story building down town, an empty house, an empty stone church built in the 1920s. This started as an acoustic guitar and a vocal. I Produced, Engineered, and Mixed.

I enjoyed listening to this song. To me it the organ is a little too prominent. The mid range instrumentation (guitars, electric piano) are a little too forward in the chorus so they detract from the vocals. I agree with the comment about the bass. Could be a case of taking something out or getting them out of the way of the vocals (panning, single eq pass etc).
The song is good and generally other than the comments above I enjoyed the arrangement.

I think the acoustic in the chorus is a little hot. Also for the chorus I think the drums are getting lost. It might be the bass competing with the kick low end.
