I’m not sure what you mean about “filtered” drums. They are live drums which may be unusual (on this site anyway). If I recall correctly the set up was two small diaphragm condensers set under the cymbals (left and right) and aimed about four feet from the drummer’s stomach and a Beta 58 on the kick. This gives a nice stereo spread. There is some plate verb on them hopefully not too much. There is a one measure drum fill after the last verse (about 3:24) that illustrates what I’m going for.

When I mix I like to pretend I’m in front of the stage in a room about 15 feet from the singer or bass player. I may have the original stems around here. I’ll go back to them. This song has something like four different versions – slower, shorter, etc. This version , I lifted big chunks of the organ parts and shifted them around to my liking.
