Good mix. Way too wet on the vocal reverb
Sounds pretty good! I think the reverb on the vocal is a little heavy. Maybe try EQ’ing the reverb bus
That might be beyond my scope of hearing. Lol. I hear some reverb, it sounds good, I move on. Tweaking the reverb EQ? Ummmm… Doesn’t all reverb sound the same? Lol.
Not really. I have a library of about 200 different rooms I can pick from in my Logic Impulse Response library and they all sound different 😉
EQ’ing the reverb is a pretty common technique. They even build in EQ on a lot of reverb plugins. Might be fun to mess with it a little bit.
I’ll try boosting the highs in my ear monitors to see if I can hear it. Can you approoximate what frequencies I should be looking for? I’m good with visuals, with the frequency analyzer…
I actually leave my reverbs mostly mid rangey. I’ll cut the highs out(7-8kHZ shelf) and the lows (anything below 200Hz). But that’s just me
