This is my first post. I’m going to school to learn this craft. I need all the feed back I can get. This was recorded in my home studio

The track actually sounds very good, there are just a few slight tweaks I‘d make if I were the mix engineer. I actually like the levels of both lead vocals, but I would turn up the level of the male vocal on the center channel of the hook just ever so slightly to bring it a bit forward so its a bit more clear while the other tracks are playing simultaneously. I would take the doubling effect off of the first verse, in my opinion it’s not really adding any character to the verse and is a bit distracting. I would also add a SMALL amount of reverb to the first verse. The second verse (female vocal) sounds good and only needs a bit of de-essing on it. As far as the hook goes, I would again remove the doubling (not sure if it’s an actual copy or a delay) from both parts, and add a small amount of pitch correction to the female part. My only other tweak would be at 2:55 when both vocalists are performing it seems unbalanced. The female vocal seems like its panned out wider than the male vocal, so I would just pan out the male vocal just a tad more. These are just creative tweaks and the current mix as it stands sounds good. Keep grinding and keep up the good work!
For this song I’d like to have the vocals be a little more upfront. Maybe add in a little low end or possibly just turn them up a dB or 2. Sounds good though
Ok bet I will definitely try that tonight when I get home
Vocals sound good. Sound like a lot of the instruments are right down the middle. Might want to see if you get can some stereo separation out of them.
Im working with a mp3 beat…. I felt like it was nothing much I could do with the mp3 …. maybe I’m wrong though… I wish I had the entire bear tracked out
Yeah I feel ya. It’s always easier when you have the individual STEMs
