Sounds good . At the very end it gets pretty busy and the kick gets lost in the mix. I can’t really say it’s wrong though because this almost sounds like music meant to be synced to video or something in that realm. Is that what you’re going for?
Thanks for listening and the feedback! I agree that it gets hectic at the end. Trying to bring all of those sounds together to a climax has been a little difficult. I’ll try again and eliminate some of them and focus on the balance of clarity and excitement.
It’s not paired with a film but I think it would be cool to do that someday. I’m still just getting started but some of my inspiration def comes from soundtracks… Mogwai’s soundtracks for ZEROZEROZERO and Kin, Cliff Martinez’s work for The Knick and other Soderbergh films, Max Cooper on the more delicate side with his work on The Leftovers, also Explosions in the Sky and some house music. I really like using traditional instruments and then making things more interesting with some electronic elements.
