I’ve been doing a lot of mixing with earbuds but mine have nipples on them that curve into the ear and they have some bass response without having to crank it. You mix is good but except for that little bridge I could have used some dynamic range. I know, I know. I’m old! LOL!
Very cool! Nice balance on everything. The drums sound pretty roomy which gives the song that garage style feel instead of the polished mainstream feel. Also, the “S”s on the lead vocal are a tiny bit harsh. But it sounds like it might be EQ more than not using a De-Esser.

Yeah the vocals could use some work.
In addition to my 2 hour mix challenge, I also used the earbuds I just bought. I had never tried mixing with earbuds, and I’m very surprised and somewhat pleased with the results.

Cool. I usually do an earbud check on my mixes too. That’s where most people will listen anyways 😉
I worded it wrong… I should have said, I used my new earbuds to mix with instead of my monitors.
