This is an interpretation of The Lord’s Prayer. I use Reaper, a Tascam UH-7000 interface, Roli Seaboard Rise keyboard, and sung through an AKG Buls 414, modified by Jim Williams of Audio Upgrades.

I think the LFO of that synth pad is causing the track to pump a little bit. Do you have a reference track so we can compare?
Hello, thanks for your input! By reference track, what do you mean?
A song of a similar genre or a song that you like the mix/balance of. I always recommend mixing with a reference so you can make sure your ears are tuned to the right balance.
Ah, not really. I’ll give that a try. Thank you. Do you have one that comes to mind? Thanks,
Hmmmm. I can’t say I’ve heard anything like it. It doesn’t fit the normal CCM/Worship mold that I typically work with.
That’s the mission. I don’t want to sound like anyone else. Every song I do is different; https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCc9mop6av2hOpBNEUcaH9LQ?view_as=subscriber
There are a dozen new ones that are waiting to be copyrighted, and they tend more towards fusion, Jazz, funk.
Ooh I’d love to hear some Jazz. That section of the website is pretty bare lol. But I can do my best to listen to this without a specific reference in mind. Here’s what I’m hearing:
I think the vocals have quite a bit of high end airiness that can be dialed back a hair. Also, I don’t know if it’s possible to re-record, but it sounded like the vocal track distorted at 1:12.
