Just a thing I made for fun and mixing practice. Please give me some tips for my mix to have more low end(btw I don’t have studio monitors or speakers) and just some methods to enhance the whole mix. Enjoy!

What were your export settings on this one? It kinda sounds like a lower bit rate mp3. Can you try exporting as 320 kbps?
Hello! I really enjoyed this; it has great potential. The lead guitar is melodic and memorable, which is a huge asset.
Here’s my feedback on what you can try to improve: I couldn’t distinctly make out bass guitar. I think it was there? If it was, it was masked by the rhythm guitar(s) which appeared to be near the center of the stereo image. Have you high-passed those?
The drums also felt too low in the mix to me. This might be personal preference, but IMO they need to be more present. The snare didn’t grab my attention and the crash cymbal felt too weak to make enough of an impression.

Hi, thanks for the feedback!
I have an issue where if I play my mix in a car, the mix always get ‘focused’ only to the front of the car. If I play other great mixes(eg. Andy James’s mixes), everything seems to
be very big and expansive to both the front and the rear of the car. What is the cause my issue here?
Man, that’s a new one for me. CD player or line in? WAV or MP3? Try different export settings. Perhaps there is something weird going on with the conversion.
Tell you what, lets follow each other on instagram and see what the real issue is if you are willing to help. I will try using your tip as well! Thanks.
