this one was tracked in a nice space. (32×40 with 15 foot ceilings.) The rhythm track was tracked live (Bass, GTR, Drums, Scratch Vox) The over dubs we done the same day and we went to dinner. Came back and mixed the track. This is Stupid from Blue Light Karma. Song will fade when it is finally mastered.

I really like this song!!! It’s contemporary and still rocks with good instrumentation. The vocals were set pretty good to me. I agree with previous statement that the guitars could be pulled back a smidge during the verses. But one thing I noticed…..the crunch guitar seemed to share the same space as the bass. The tones were really similar and could probably pan the guitars away from center. You said they were recorded live….if possible incorporate some panning, and cut out some bottom end in the crunch guitar.
Like I said, this is a cool song and most people would love it the way it is. But I think the guitar and bass player will like it. Oh, nice vocals! I’m envious!
Love it. Great job. I would probably drop the guitars 1dB, but that’s just subjective on my part.
