This was recorded in the kitchen with stove, 2 fridges and there is a lot of space behind me. I sometimes feel the echo/reverb before i put on the vocals. It was recorded using Alesis Multimix8 USBFX. Mic – Colbalt Co7 ( Dynamic mic). I am using fl studio 20 plugins. I have tried it all, still feels like the mix is ready for mastering.
This is infectious and not in a virus way! I just really liked the track. I was thinking the hiss at the beginning was a special effect. As was the snare build up. It contrasts with the regular drum track in a good way. While I’m not a fan of “effected” vocals, the echo works. I’m not hearing noise on the vocal track. Good job. This is a good example of what a person can do with minimal gear. I have an Alesis Multi mix 8. The older models let you input 10 separate tracks into your computer! I take mine to record live bands with a laptop.
I’m hearing the hiss too. You might wanna try the izotope RX De-hiss and see if it can correct it
I just listened on another system and noticed that when the vocal comes in there is a hi end hiss. It goes away when the vocal is not singing
Sounds pretty good to me. I feel like snare on the builds is a little thin for my taste, but that doesn’t mean anything is wrong with it mix-wise.
Thank you so much for a feedback! All noted. I will check what i can do with that, thank you again!
Happy to help. Keep up the good work 😉
