I mixed this in Cubase Pro 10.5. A friend of mine wrote the song and played guitar & bass (https://www.reverbnation.com/m%C3%B6tt). I converted all the acoustic drums and bass into midi and output them through Superior Drummer 3, and Shreddage 3 Abyss (Kontakt) for bass. I sang all the background vocals.

Not a fan of 80’s mixes, but this hits the nail on the head for the genre. That massive gated snare is classic 80’s rock. This one’s done imho – onto the next….
Cool song! Great vocals.
Cool song! Vocals sound great! The guitars sound nice too. For the drums they sounded super compressed with a slow enough attack to just let a little click through. So, when the drums hit they are just sounding like little clicks instead of full-bodied drums. It’s most noticeable on the toms.
