Update: Did some tweaks to the mix. Worked on the toms a bit. Tried to soften the vocals a bit, I thought they were too “gravely,” – I know his voice is naturally that way but it gets amplified if there’s too much top end in them. Also this is a cleaner master. Took a new approach to mastering (thanks Streaky!) and I’m quite happy with the results. I think I’m getting a much less compressed sounding end product. Quick tip: Mixing with saturation is the key to the universe!

Sounds really good! I agree about saturation. It’s a game changer. My only opinion(not a mix issue) is I would probably drop the vocal 1db. But that’s just my style. There’s nothing wrong with the way it’s mixed now 🙂
