It has that old school Ramones vibe. If that’s the mix you’re going for I think you nailed it.
I think this is a great lo-Fi sound. Nicely done
So it has a lofi vibe for sure. Was that intentional? Cus I don’t wanna say the mix is a little dark and the drums should be louder if you were going for the lofi vibe lol. Because if that’s the vibe, I really like this 🙂
I wanna make it some kind of lo-fi, but maybe more “raw” sound is better description. However is hard to me to do it with so clean tracks. Any ideas how to get it?
I can’t say I’m an expert on achieving the lo-fi sound. But maybe lots of old school analog gear emulations and tape emulators? If you started with clean tracks, I think you did a pretty good job of dirtying it up a bit.
There is already tape emulation on master track, which made it a bit darker, but maybe I should make some tweaks on it and add more wow flutter or use some other plugins to achieve that.
