how did you get this guitar tone ??
Depends on which guitars you are talking about. The Rhythm guitars were miked from an amp/cab. SolidState Marshall MG100, crap, but the only amp I have on hand. In through an SM57 and MXL990.
There are multiple tones, because I am a terrible guitarist, many had to be re-recorded after the miking set up on the cab had already been torn down. So some are DI’s using Fortin Nameless.
Most of the rhythm guitars are the Marshall cab, though. Just the breakdwon rhythm guitars are DI’d.
Cool song! I think the drums are coming across a little thin. They also appear to be mono. Are you able to spread the drums out a little bit in the stereo field?
100% right. Entirely forgot to print the VST drums to Stereo tracks haha. I updated that now!
