Here’s a mix I just finished. It’s part of an 11 song album I’m working on from a band called Into The Zoid from Slovakia. I think I’m getting a lot better at this.

Hello
Another mix in a series of songs I’m producing for a friend of mine. Mixed and mastered in Cubase Pro as usual. Starting to get a sense of my own mixing style and starting to hear better consistency across tracks.
Sunshine Baby
Here’s one that I wanted a more classic rock feel but modernized dynamics. I went for that BIG, roomy drum sound. Drums are Superior Drummer 3. Tried to keep everything simple but also tried to use classic vibrato and rotary effects on the guitars, like old Zep tunes. I’m getting better at this stuff but I know it really shouldn’t take 4 days to mix a song! lol Again, all mixed and mastered in Cubase 10.5 Pro.
All Outta Love
Here’s a fun one! In the vein of Whitesnake or any other 80’s metal. Mixed in Cubase. Real acoustic drums on this one played by Dave Moreno (Puddle of Mud) with snare sample blended in from GGD. Bass by my buddy Martin Epp (songwriter) – Guitars brought to you by Jimmy Burkhard, vocals by Chas West, BG vocals by me. This is my first mix without using any MIDI instrumentation. Mastered by myself as well. Let me know what you think!
