This is a simple rock/pop track. I mixed the song in Pro Tools using Plug in Alliance plug ins, SoundToys plug ins and a few UAD plug ins. All guitars are recorded through various Kemper profiles. I used a traditional microphone to capture the acoustic guitar. All synthesizers and organ were performed by my son.

Great song and great job on the mix. Anything I say about the mix would be purely subjective. So, I don’t think it’s worth it as long as YOU’RE happy with the mix 😉
Thanks for listening. I listened to the mix after posting and I feel the melody guitar is a touch to loud in the mix. Being a guitar player, I am probably guilty of mixing the leads to loud. I would love to hear one of my recent songs mixed by someone else.
I just figured that’s because there’s no lead vocal. So, why not let the lead guitar fill that space 😉
