Recorded in my home studio using Logic Pro X. The drums are the Logic Pro drummer. The synths were done using a legacy synth VST, Cherry Audio’s DCO-106, which emulates a synth that is near and dear to my heart, the Roland Juno 106. All guitars and bass were run direct through a Countryman DI and then processed by Guitar Rig 5. The vocals were performed by an online service that I have used in the past. I performed everything but the vocals. I am hoping to get feedback on anything that just stands out where it shouldn’t. This particular mix was also mastered using CloudBounce.

Everything sounds really good. My only issue is that there seems to be a lot of “air” across the whole mix. If I was mastering this I’d be rolling off a lot of top end.
This is great to know. My hearing isn’t what it used to be so I’m sure I tend to overcompensate for the higher frequencies that I do not hear so well anymore. I’ll definitely take your advise and see how I can improve that issue. Thank you very much!
