That kick is demanding too much attention on the soft parts. If you did a fairly wide cut between 200 and 500 Hz, it would take care of that cardboard box sound. I like the bass sound! Don’t be afraid to bring those crunching guitars out more. Maybe pan them more towards the sides, then you wouldn’t have to have the vocals as loud.If you panned the harmonies also, 1/4 to 1/2, it would sound more full. I like the sound you have on the vocals. Nice well rounded mix, my friend.
