Late nite mix done in Studio One Pro, I missed the competition this year but here is my version. Feedback and comments very much appreciated! *not mastered & didn’t use anything on the master bus. Drums are mixed as is, I decided not to use samples. My biggest issue is the toms. Suggestions and advice much much appreciated!

I just have 2 notes:
1. I’d listen closely to the balance between the kick and snare. The kick seems to be getting lost.
2. The lead vocal is pretty loud compared to the rest of the track. I’d add more compression and drop it down quite a bit so it sits in the mix instead of on top of it. Especially for a rock track like this.
