There is some hi end boost during the choruses that is probably going to be an issue. Sounds like the 12-15k range. I’m not sure if the snare works for this song. Right now it sounds more like an 80s gated snare, but I’ve heard the original and I’m not sure if they’ll go for it or not.
Also, I’d look at the vocal distortion. Right now it’s pretty subtle so it’s hard to tell if it’s intentional or just a bad recording. If you’re going to go the distorted vocal route, I’d make it more obvious.
