Another training mix from cambridge mt.com wanted to try my self in rock(never did it before) instruments it was actually pleasure to mix but vocal part was fire test for me. Recording was very poor quality(pops clicks etc) and performance wasn’t good some back vocals pronouncing wasn’t correct and i dont know who edited but he just chopped of phrase in ending of verse! So for me it was mostly fight with vocals. 3 days i was sitting and try to do something with this. So i am giving to you guys for judgment

Nice song. I always liked female rock vocals. Instrumentation needs to be louder or vocals brought down. I like the FXs on the vocals. Nice job for your first rock mix.
Yeah that vocal definitely needs some tuning. I think it’s too loud compared to the other instruments. It seems like the guitars and drums are way far back. For rock like this I’d make sure those are super present. And make the vocal seem like it’s sandwiched between two guitars.
I think some Evansecsce would be good to A/B this to
