This was recorded from a live set, did a fun little mixdown and brief master on it, based upon the live mix. Done entirely in the box, utilizing various plugins from the Waves and Slate catalogues. Minor editing was done, as the band also wanted to use this as a reference mix, for any touch ups that needed to be made to the performance.

I know live mixes introduce a lot of challenges mix-wise. Were the drums fully mic’d up? I’m having trouble hearing the kick and snare at certain points. Also I think the mix as a whole could use a little more body in the low mids/ lows.
