Here is my take on this excellent metal song.
Blended in some samples for kick, snare and toms as well as for the guitars, I blended the recorded tracks with Waves GTR VST of the DI tracks. Mixed in Reaper with mainly Waves plugins.

Nice! I think the biggest issue for me is the cymbal wash. It’s kind of hovering over the top of the mix and causing everything to lose a bit of clarity.
