Can you try to roll off that hiss. (Maybe a low-pass filter for that channel if you have it?) Punch up the EQ on your bass (boost 350Hz +5db) to give some foundation to the rest of the mix. Well done key change at 2:28. Vox are noticeably tinny, although fit well for where they are. What kind of mic are you singing into. Are you in a small room? The guitar line fits perfectly at 3:30. I work with a number of churches and they would love to sound as good as this does as it is.

Thanks for your feedback. I record everything in an untreated bedroom. The mic I use is a cheap one, an MXL9000
That synth has a hi end hiss to it that is a little distracting. I’d probably use a low pass filter to just roll it off.
How were the vocals recorded? Right now they are sounding a little boxy. Like they were recorded in an untreated room.
Everything was recorded in my 12X12 bedroom with no treatment. Thanks for responding 🙂
Gotcha. I might try hanging up some blankets to try and knock down those reflections. 😉
I thought the same thing 🙂
