Hello guys, I’d like to have some feedbacks on this mix. The song is called Jean, by the Italian duo Victoria On The Grass. The song is at 75 bpm, regarding the genre is a mix of rock, folk, indie, dream pop atmosphere.
It is composed by 3 verses where a lead vocal (+spoken) sings, alternated by three bridges where the backing vocals/choir sing together, and then at the end there is this chorale Outro, that intensifies in dynamic and in number of instruments.
I’d like to know what do you think about the mix, there were many instruments and vocals, such a crowded arrangments, so it was really a challenge for me to make it work and also mantain the original concept and production of the song.

Nice Vibe!
What I notice…
1) leading up to 0:15 when the keys start there could be a nicer transition for more impact.
2) Vocals are not tight. They’d need to be more aligned/edited. Also BVs are a bit too upfront for me.
3) Main Vocals are not clear enough. Might be a EQ or dynamic thing. Could S/C the fighting instruments from the Vocal.
4) Thinking more about impact would be beneficial. I like automating Stereo Image and Volume on my Mixbus for that a lot.
5) I think elements like the AcGTR could be a lot thinner and more present on the Side channel but therefore also quieter.
I think I’m just ever so slightly missing a bit of contrast in the instruments.
